Academy of Family Physicians (regd) and attended by thousands of family
physicians from all over Pakistan and abroad.

Future Projects
Dr.BASHIR MEMORIAL
TRUST (DBMT)
A project of Pakistan Academy of
Family Physicians, launched in 2007 in the memory of Dr Bashir A Malik
(late), the founder of PAFP.
Dr Sajjad Ahmad Malik was nominated as the chairman of DBMT. The trust
aims to provide assistance to the people from all walks of life in
general and doctor community in particular.
SCREENING
CAMPS
Pakistan Academy of Family Physicians has a vision
of a healthier Pakistan through early detection of health problems so
they are prevented rather cured. In this context PAFP is going to set up
free screening camps in various schools and colleges with the help of
other NGO’s. The schedule for these camps will be announced shortly.
MRCGP Program
The exam for MRCGP (International) is conducted by
the Royal College Of General Practitioners UK twice a year in Pakistan
in MAY and NOV. The preparatory classes for MRCGP (International) are
being held by Pakistan Academy of Family Physicians (Regd) throughout
the year which include MOCK TEST and OSCE exams by the faculty of PAFP.
Extensive CME’s are also carried out focusing on this MRCGP program.
